Attend the first art exhibit in the new sustainable Holy Wisdom Monastery, 4200 County Highway M, Middleton, from February 12-March 20, 2010; M, Tu, Th, F: 8 am – 4:30 pm; W: 8 am – 8 pm; Sa: 1-4 pm. The exhibit combines the poetry of Michael E. Belongie and the landscape and wildlife paintings of Jonathan Wilde and begins with a reception on February 12, 5:30-8:30 pm. All are welcome. Holy Wisdom Monastery Honored for Green Building March 01, 2010 - March 31, 2010
The Benedictine Women of Middleton’s Holy Wisdom Monastery have shown their strong commitment to environmentally sound living through their newly-built 34,000-square-foot facility. The innovative new building built by Hoffman LLC will be honored at the Top Projects awards dinner in Waukesha on April 21. The green-built project has been submitted to the U.S. Green Building Council and is pursuing a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum certification. Congratulations to everyone at Holy Wisdom Monastery!

Poker for Paws Hold'em Poker Tournament to benefit the OccuPaws’ Guide Dog Association that helps change lives of our local visually impaired. OccuPaws is a local, non-profit organization providing guide dogs for Wisconsin’s blind and visually impaired community at NO COST to the client.  Registration begins at Noon. Jog/Walk for Guide Dogs

A Benefit for OccuPaws Guide Dog Association. Bring your family and dog, and stroll the Parmenter Street corridor in Middleton. Stop at businesses along the way and have your OccuPaws Jog Book stamped - with each stamp you get a free raffle ticket for great door prizes! Don’t have a dog? Come anyway for the fun and prizes! Register beginning at 10:30 am at the Capital Brewery Beer Garden.

Cost is $5 per adult; kids and dogs are free!
Each registration gives you one raffle ticket and an OccuPaws Jog Book with special offers from participating businesses!
Contribute $20 to OccuPaws and get a free T-shirt!
End your walk at Capital Brewery’s Beer Garden and “Have a Dog with the Dogs.” Hot dogs and beverages available for purchase.
Mustard samplings by Middleton’s National Mustard Museum.
