Located on 10,000-acres along Lake Mendota, recreation and nature mingle within sight of the State Capitol. Trails and restored prairie and savanna beckon nature enthusiasts. Effigy mounds can be seen on the Woodland Trail. Boat launch, swimming area, pet swimming area, hiking and ski trails.

KEVA Sports Center is an indoor/outdoor recreation sports facility featuring many different sports, including indoor & outdoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, sand volleyball, lacrosse, bean bags, as well as youth sports programs for the little ones just getting started. From beginners to those that will never quit, KEVA Sports Center features year-round activities all under one roof, and then some.

KEVA Sports Center also offers Madison and Dane County's most innovative youth development programs, with the MY FIRST SPORT and 7-14 year old sport classes, offering great skills-based, confidence building programs.

KEVA also has has some of the best space for Company and Corporate events in the area. With over 100,000 Square Feet of indoor/outdoor space that includes a fully fence outside recreation area, playgrounds, concessions, lockerrooms and more. KEVA can host corporate parties as large as 2000 or as small as 20 people.


Lake Mendota Park & Camp Ground

Located off County Highway M near the intersection of County Highways Q and M. 30-unit campground and a 5-unit boat campground with reservable sites. Electrical sites, bathroom and shower facilities and trailer dumping station. Mendota Park also offers two shelter facilities, unsupervised swimming area with an accessible swimming ramp, tennis and basketball courts, softball field, play equipment and a shallow launch for small boats and canoes. This park is only a few miles southwest of Governor Nelson State Park.

Performing Arts Center

The beautiful new Performing Arts Center at Middleton High School is a work of art fit for many types of cultural performances, presentations or meetings. A distinctive glass exterior designed by James Moravec of Potter Lawson gives way to a stunning interior featuring wood paneling and brick. The main auditorium contains 899 seats that can be partitioned off to create three smaller spaces. It has a full fly scenery system and orchestra pit. A state-of-the-art light system by Electronic Theater Controls and sound system by Peak Systems Group will enhance any performance and the stage is equipped with a Wegner “Diva” acoustic shell system.


Quarry Park Skate Facility

10,ooo square foot skate facility designed for skateboard and rollerblade enthusiasts. Open daily from 7am until dusk, March 15th through December 15th. BMX bikes are prohibited.

With 22 parks spread over nearly 1,000 scenic acres, outdoor recreation is a natural here. From the wide waters of Lake Mendota, to the prairie wetland and woodland terrain of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. In a few cases we've tinkered a bit with nature's designs. The result? Extensive nature trails beautiful golf courses, scenic bike paths, and family friendly parks-from ice rinks and swimming pools to a specially designed skateboard park.
