Dane County’s businesses are invited to enjoy coffee compliments of Starbucks on September 12 from 9 to 11 a.m.
MIDDLETON, Wis. (August 25, 2008) – Dane County’s businesses are encouraged to “take a break†on Friday, Sept. 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. and join Greenway Station for the largest coffee break Middleton has ever seen. This event is designed to offer a place for local businesses to network together while enjoying a complimentary cup of coffee from Starbucks.
Middleton’s Largest Coffee Break, sponsored by Anderson & Shapiro, will be held rain or shine in a tent located in the parking area near Starbucks. The first 100 event attendees will receive a free gift bag filled with coupons and special offers courtesy of Greenway Station. In addition to complimentary coffee, Cosi will offer attendees free pastries and bagels. The event will also include live entertainment by local guitar and bass musicians Ken Wheaton and Tom McCarty, as well as chances to win Greenway Station gift cards, office lunch parties and other great prizes.
Several city officials and media representatives will take part in the event by participating as official “coffee servers.†Among these are Michelle Riell and Amy Carlson with NBC 15; Kurt Sonnentag, Mayer of Middleton, Mike Davis, Middleton City Administrator; and Van Nutt, Executive Director for the Middleton Chamber of Commerce.
A donation of $1 per person is suggested and will benefit the Middleton Outreach Ministry. For more information on this organization please visit www.mompop.org.
“We truly look forward to serving the local business community and showing how much we appreciated its support both of Greenway Station and the community as a whole. We hope area business professionals will enjoy the opportunity to relax and enjoy a few minutes away from the office at the shopping center,†said Jim DeArmond, general manager for Greenway Station.
