Help benefit South African AIDS orphans and vulnerable children at the 5th annual Africa Alive at Capital Brewery on August 7, 2010 from 2pm until 8pm. Africa Alive is a fundraiser from which 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to benefit AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Southern Africa.

Entertainment will include: WADOMA West African Dance, Tani Diakite and Tony Castaneda, African drumming and Spoken Word Poetry. Children’s activities include a Children’s Costume Contest, drumming and crafts. (Children are encouraged to come in costume). There will also be brewery tours, live and silent auctions, jugglers, face painters, African crafts, international cuisine, door prizes and more. Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 16.
